Does anybody else have a sense of call? A feeling in the pit of your stomach that whatever you end up doing for the rest of your life isn't really something you get to choose?
I mean, of course it is something you choose. I can decide to go back to school or not to go back to school. I can apply to whatever jobs I choose. Or I can decide not to work at all.
However, i still have that feeling in the pit of my stomach... is there an explanation?

I think there is an explanation - not a sound one, but an explanation. While some people believe that everything is destined, I believe that everything is inevitably destined. God picks your milestones and it's up to you to figure out how you're going to get there. Metaphorically, it's the fork in the road - you've got the choice to go one way or the other, but they both take you to the same place. One way may be a little more interesting than the other, but that's the chance you take.
